The desk kuangm.com

A shelf built on other people’s published numbers.

Nothing on this site is a measurement we took ourselves. Everything is either quoted from an airline or read off a product listing, and the two are kept visually apart so a reader always knows which is which.

Where the airline figures come from

Each of the 18 carriers has a baggage page, and that page is where the boxes in the table originate. The figures were copied in October 2026. Where a carrier publishes a bag allowance without dimensions, the cell is left empty and the note explains why — an invented number is worse than a blank one.

Where the bags come from

The 12 bags on the shelf are Amazon.com.au listings. Their dimensions are the ones written on the listing itself, in centimetres, and the fit stamp is that measurement compared against each carrier’s box. A bag is never described as fitting an airline unless the arithmetic says it does.

How the fit count works

Every bag has three sides; every frame has three sides. Sides are sorted largest to largest and compared one to one, so a bag only clears a frame when all three of its sides fit the matching sides of the box. Rotating a bag does not change the outcome, which is exactly how the sizer at the gate behaves.

What this site does not do

No orders are taken here, no card details are requested and no delivery is arranged. A list built on this site is handed to Amazon.com.au, and everything commercial happens inside Amazon’s own checkout.

Corrections

Airlines revise allowances without much warning. If a row looks wrong, write to [email protected] with the airline, the route and the page the figure came from. Verified corrections are made to the table and noted in the date at the top of the size guide.
