Privacy read October 2026
Very little is kept. Here is precisely what.
This page is written against the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and its Australian Privacy Principles. It describes the site, not Amazon — Amazon has its own notice, and the link to it is at the bottom.
No account, no form
kuangm.com has no registration, no newsletter form and no checkout. Because there is no form, no name, address, phone number or email address is collected by the site while browsing. The only email exchange that can occur is one a reader starts by writing to the address below.
What sits in your browser
The list you build is stored in your browser’s local storage under a single key. It holds the items chosen, their quantities and the product details needed to display them. It does not leave the browser, it is not transmitted to this site, and clearing site data removes it permanently.
Server logs
The web server records ordinary request information — the page requested, a timestamp, a user agent and an IP address — for security and for keeping the site available. These records are retained for a short operational window and are not combined with any other information to build a profile.
Links out, cookies in
Product links lead to Amazon.com.au, which sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy notice once you arrive. No Amazon cookie is set by kuangm.com itself. The cookies page explains the local storage key in more detail.
Disclosure and correction
Under the Australian Privacy Principles a person may ask what personal information is held about them, ask for it to be corrected, and complain about how it has been handled. Because the site holds no customer records, most requests resolve to a short answer, but every request gets a reply.
How to reach the privacy contact
Write to [email protected] with the word privacy in the subject line, or call 1300 584 424. The postal address is Kuangm, 295 Gympie Road, Kedron QLD 4031, Australia.
If the answer is not good enough
Complaints may be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), which supervises the Privacy Act. The office publishes its own complaint process, and a complaint to this site does not remove that route.
Changes to this notice
If the site gains a feature that changes what is collected — a form, an account, a newsletter — this page will be updated before that feature is switched on, not after.
